Personal data is collected from you when you voluntarily provide us with personal information. This would be when visiting our app or website by registering to accessthe services. In order to provide our services to you, we may collect for the following information:

Other details to help you with your experience and in order to gain access to further details of classes or opportunities available to you on our site.

You hereby agree and acknowledge that such Personal Information may be transferred to the head offices of Launch Out and the authorized third parties mentioned herein.
We may use the information we collect from you when you respond to marketing communication, look through the Launch Out website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- In order to give you further access to the Launch Out app, website and classes available
- To allow you entry into your selected and prepaid classes on your Launch account
- To process your payments for the services
- To provide a requested service
- To send communication that you signed up for
- To ask for ratings and reviews of services and products to improve Launch Out services
- To follow up with you following an email or phone inquiry or an interactive class session
Launch Out services have been created with the purpose of connecting vendor and learner. Launch out provides the platform for the vendor to list their business and associated classes, create calender dates times and locations/online links for each class and instructor, and collects payment on behalf of the vendor. Guardians are able to search for both online and onsite bookings in their area and book and pay all on one platform. Vendors and third party users create their own online links or use their own onsite venues and manage these independent of Launch Out.
Launch Out and its affiliates may use your Personal Information to inform you of future services that we believe may be of interest to you. We do work in accordance with the provisions of section 45(1) of the ECT Act of South Africa as well as the CANSPAM Act and all promotional communication will permit you to “Opt-out” of receiving future promotional material. When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. OnGuard Online.
We require the parent or guardian to supply the information and consent in order to access our services on the Launch Out website. The child’s name, age and any other pertinent information advised by the parents will shared with the Class Instructor / Vendor. Only once class has commenced will information be collected from the children directly. Children cannot post any information, whether personal or other, publicly on the Launch Out Platform. The classes may take place over online interactive video streaming which will record the images and audio of the children and the Instructor. Children may share information about themselves during the class session.
Launch Out does not control or supervise what each child on each session chooses to share with their class instructor and fellow class users nor what is ultimately done with that information and Launch Out disclaims all responsibility in this regard. Please ensure you have made your child and yourself fully aware of how to conduct yourself when online.
Any class recordings or images taken or information shared in any class, course or event whether conducted online or onsite is completely out of Launch Out’s control and Launch Out disclaims all responsibility in this regard.
You are free at any time to request cancellation of your account with Launch Out and can request that we delete from our records any personal information of yourself and your child with regard to that account. This can be done by contacting hello@launchout.co.za. Please be aware that this request may result in termination of services and anything else linked to that specific account.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Also, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We scan our website for known vulnerabilities on a regular basis to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. In saying this the internet is never guaranteed as fully safe from security breaches and we do not accept responsibility of disclosures that are beyond our reasonable control. It is your responsibility to protect your access passwords, user name and account details as well as the computing devise that you use to access your account on the Launch Out Platform so that others do not have access to your personal information.
